WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has asked for an addition to the Codified Ordinances that will substantially mirror recent changes to the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed this section and agrees that it needs to be added prior to our normal codification process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Code Section 333.032, Arrest or Citation of Driver Based on Radar, Timing Device, or Radio Message from Another Officer, of Chapter 333, OVI, Willfull Misconduct, Speed, is hereby enacted as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That Section 333.032, Arrest or Citation of Driver Based on Radar, Timing Device, or Radio Message from Another Officer, of Chapter 333, OVI, Willfull Misconduct, Speed,, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
