WHEREAS, when Gahanna added Niagara Bottling to our list of businesses we had no idea what the volume of their water use would be; and
WHEREAS, Niagara is currently using approximately 340,000 gallons of water per day; and
WHEREAS, now that we know their water consumption it is necessary to supplementally appropriate funds to pay the City of Columbus to cover the increased volume of water and the sewer based rental;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($385,000) is hereby supplementally from the unencumbered, appropriated balance of the Water Fund, to Account No. 651.350.5268, Water Purchases.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($508,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Sewer Fund to Account No. 661.360.5269, Sewer Rental.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2013, passed January 1, 2013, is hereby amended to reflect these supplemental appropriations.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
