TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND CHARLES W. HENDERSON FOR GAHANNA ANIMAL CONTROL.

WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Administration that it is desirable to continue to handle animal control in the City with Charles W. Henderson; and

WHEREAS, the existing contract with Charles W. Henderson will expire on December 31, 2006;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Personal Services Contract between the City of Gahanna, Ohio and CHARLES W. HENDERSON, 84 Goings S.W., Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, said contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That funding in the amount of FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY SIX DOLLARS ($44,466) will be appropriated in the 2007 Appropriations to Account No. 101.213.5441, A&I Control Services, to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
