WHEREAS, the 2013 proportionate share was not encumbered prior to December 31, 2013 so the 2013 appropriation was not carried forward; and
WHEREAS, the payment for the 2013 proportionate share will leave an appropriated amount insufficient to pay the 2014 proportionate share; and
WHEREAS, moving forward, the budget will be developed with this timing adjustment accounted for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.131.5289, Auditor - Municipal Court.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2014, passed January 2, 2014, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance will be in full force and effect upon passage by Council and the signature of approval by the Mayor.
