TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH NEOGOV, INC. FOR ON-LINE APPLICATION AND WORKFLOW SOFTWARE PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, in 2011 the Human Resources Department started using PeopleAdmin software to provide the City's on-line employment application process; and
WHEREAS, PeopleAdmin was supposed to be expanding their product into the government area, and that has not come to fruition and their focus remains on higher education; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has researched other software that will perform the essential tasks that they need and the Director of Human Resources has recommended we proceed with NEOGOV, Inc. for the appropriate software to meet the needs of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with NEOGOV, Inc., 222 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Suite 2000, El Segundo, CA 90245, for on-line application and workflow software, said contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($5,800) was set aside in the 2014 Appropriations to Account No. 101.125.5251, Human Resources, Tech Maintenance, to cover the herein cost.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is shall be in full force and effect upon passage by Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
