WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the City Engineer that we move forward with the preliminary design work for the Beecher Road widening; and
WHEREAS, letter proposal for engineering services, from Moody Nolan, has been received and has been recommended by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, $12,000 has been donated by Canini & Pellecchia, and accepted by this Council, to partially fund this roadway expansion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with MOODY NOLAN, LTD., INC., 1776 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43203, for engineering services for the Beecher Road Widening, in accordance with proposal letter attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and all in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ELEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX DOLLARS ($11,966) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the General Fund to Account No. 101.145.5533, Engineering, Capital Projects, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
