TO ACCEPT FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE CITY OF COLUMBUS FOR DEVELOPER FUNDED REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE MORRISON/CLAYCRAFT TURN LANE; IMPROVEMENT NO. 899; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $6,050; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City applied to the City of Columbus for $6,050 in developer funded reimbursement for the Morrison/Claycraft Turn Lane, Improvement No. 899; and

 

WHEREAS, funds have been received from the City of Columbus and they need to be appropriated into the Permissive Tax account; and

 

WHEREAS, it is imperative to proceed so that funds can be appropriated to the correct account, and all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;

 

Section 1.  That funding in the amount of SIX THOUSAND FIFTY DOLLARS ($6,050) is hereby accepted from the City of Columbus from developer funded reimbursement for the improvements to the Morrison/Claycraft Turn lane; Improvement No. 899.

 

Section 2.  That said funding in the amount of SIX THOUSAND FIFTY DOLLARS ($6,050) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the County Permissive Tax Fund to Account No. 231.330.5596, Capital Projects/Improvements.

 

Section 3.  That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

 

Section 4.  That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
