TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH SANTMYER COMMERCIAL FUELING NETWORK (SCFN) FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CITY FUEL FACILITY, 781 SCIENCE BOULEVARD.

WHEREAS, the City contracted with Pen-Lor Enterprises by ORD-0248-2003 to run the fuel facility of the City; and
WHEREAS, SCFN assumed the fuel management contract from Pen-Lor in 2004; and
WHEREAS, this contract will simplify markup and commission calculation and the City will continue to receive essentially the same commission revenue and pay a reduced price for the fuel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract through December 2007 with SANTMYER COMMERCIAL FUELING NETWORK, 1055 Old Lincoln Way West, Wooster, Ohio 44691, for operation and maintenance of the City fuel facility, located at 781 Science Boulevard; contract attached as Exhibit A.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
