SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - FEMA Operational Expenses

WHEREAS, the City received a share of disaster relief funds from FEMA and the State of Ohio related to last year's catastrophic wind storms totalling $53,375; and
WHEREAS, in reviewing the FEMA Fund and previous disaster related expenditures an additional $15,718 has been received from the 2008 ice storm and that was never fully processed; and
WHEREAS, in order to capture the reimbursements in the appropriate funds the Finance Department is requesting a supplemental appropriation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of SIXTY NINE THOUSAND NINETY THREE DOLLARS ($69,093) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the FEMA Fund to Account No. 249.215.5456, FEMA, Operational Expenses.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2013, passed January 2, 2013, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
