WHEREAS, the City has received a Transfer Exempt Permit Application to an Economic Development Project (TREX) for Venture53 Restaurants, LLC, dba Smashburger, 109 N. Hamilton Road, Bldg. B; and
WHEREAS, this application needs to be signed by the City prior to their submission for a liquor permit; and
WHEREAS, in order to alleviate any delay in the opening of the business it is imperative to act as quickly as possible, and all for the preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is authorized to sign the Transfer Exempt Permit Application to an Economic Development Project, for Venture53 Restaurants LLC, dba Smashburger, 109 N. Hamilton Road, Bldg. B, said application attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereinabove, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
