TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN ONGOING ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH ACG, INCORPORATED FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SUPPORT OF ABRA SUITE HUMAN RESOURCES INFORMATION SYSTEM; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, 3 letter quotes were received for a Human Resources Information System for use by the Human Resources Department; and
WHEREAS, funding up to $395 has been appropriated in 2003 for an ongoing maintenance contract to support the ABRA Suite Human Resources Information System; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this for the safety and security of the citizens of Gahanna, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with ACG, Incorporated, 77 West Elmwood Drive, Suite 200, Dayton, OH 45459, for an ongoing maintenance contract to support the ABRA Suite Human Resources Information System in accordance with letter quote and Professional Services Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of THREE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE DOLLARS ($395) has been set aside to Account No. 101.125.5511 Capital/Human Resources, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and upon the date of signature approval by the Mayor.
