TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH MT BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES TO LEASE MULTI-FUNCTION COPY, PRINT, FAX, SCAN MACHINES.

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna currently leases 2 fax machines and 14 copiers that also act as our printers from MT Business Technologies and the current 48-month lease will expire April, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the vendor is offering a new 48-month lease at the same cost as the current lease that would replace 8 most heavily used copiers with new, faster models, leave 4 existing lesser used copiers, relocate 4 lesser used copiers and keep the 2 existing fax machines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Lease Agreement with MT BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES, 750 Brooksedge Plaza Drive, Westerville, Ohio 43081, for multi-function copy, print, fax, scan machines Lease Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That funding was set aside in the 2014 Appropriations in Account No. 101.141.5276, Lands and Buildings, Lease Expense and Account No. 229.151.5456, Mayors Court, Operational Expense, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
