TO HONOR AND COMMEND RYAN JOLLEY FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE AS A GAHANNA CITY COUNCIL MEMBER AT LARGE.

WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley has a great love for his City and a desire to serve the citizens of Gahanna as an At Large Council member to represent all Gahanna residents; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley was elected to Gahanna City Council in 2011; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley has served on the City Council’s Finance Committee, Service and Safety Committee and on the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley began his career in the public sector in 2001 when he was elected to the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education at the age of 18; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley has served on several boards of non-profit organizations, worked in the Ohio Senate, and worked on multiple candidate and issue campaigns; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley received a scholarship to The Ohio State University where he graduated in 2005 with a BA in Political Science and a BSBA in Economics and then went on to join Teach For America. He later earned an MBA from Franklin University and an MST in Adolescent Education from Pace University; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley is an avid cyclist and understands the value of recreational programs in the community; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley is a man of great integrity who has dedicated his time to the City he lives in and loves; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Jolley will be greatly missed by all who have had the pleasure to know him and to serve on Council with him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby honors and commends Ryan Jolley for four years of service as Gahanna City Council Member At Large.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council.
