TITLE
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 0007-2024 ON APRIL 1, 2024; CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT OF 2.58 +/- ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5061 SHAGBARK RD; PARCEL ID 027-000117; CURRENT ZONING ER (FORMERLY ER-2); PROPOSED ZONING L-R-4 (FORMERLY L-MFRD); HC SHAGBARK REAL ESTATE LLC; CHRISTOPHER CHRISTOFF, APPLICANT
BODY
WHEREAS, on August 22, 2023, the City of Gahanna received an application for the purposes of rezoning 2.58 +/- acres, said property located at 5061 Shagbark Rd; Parcel ID 027-000117; and
WHEREAS, on June 26, 2024, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on said rezoning application during its regular meeting, with said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law; and
WHEREAS, after the public hearing held June 26, 2024, the Planning Commission voted affirmatively to recommend approval of said rezoning application to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 2024, the City Council held a public hearing on the recommended rezoning application during its regular meeting, said hearing held pursuant to notice and according to law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the recommended rezoning application and acted in accordance with City Charter and according to law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map, adopted by Ordinance No. 0007-2024 on April 1, 2024, is hereby amended through rezoning 2.58 +/- acres located at 5061 Shagbark Rd, Parcel ID 027-000117, from ER (FORMERLY ER-2) to L-R-4 (FORMERLY L-MFRD); said acreage more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to amend and recertify the Official Zoning Map of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, to reflect the zoning contained in and approved by this Ordinance.
