TO AMEND CHAPTER 929, WATER CONNECTIONS AND RATES, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, TO AMEND SECTION 929.08, METER SERVICE FEE; SECTION 929.12, WATER RATES; AND SECTION 929.17, SPECIAL CHARGES.

WHEREAS, it is time to update meter service fees, water rate charges and special rate charges for 2009, and to add the ability of the City to bill in increments other than quarterly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 929, Water Connections and Rates, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 929, Water Connections and Rates, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
