WHEREAS, change orders approved for Creekside incurred additional costs to the project; and
WHEREAS, these change orders were with regard to unsuitable soils, the location of the pond pump room, and a stage reconfiguration for ADA accessibility; and
WHEREAS, each change order request will be dealt with in a separate ordinance and this ordinance deals with the request for the Pond Pump Room; and
WHEREAS, final costs have been received and the administration is ready to move forward with the supplementals to close out this phase of the Creekside project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That ONE HUNDRED FIFTY SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY TWO DOLLARS ($156,262) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to account number 101.359.5596, Creekside, Capital Projects.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
