WHEREAS, the 2014 Part-time Employee Salary Ordinance authorizes part-time employees working in an environment that OHSA/PERRP requires the use of steel-toed safety boots due to the type of work performed to receive one pair of safety boots up to the amount of $100.00; and
WHEREAS, the City received a reimbursement from the Bureau of Workers' Compensation to be utilized to prevent future worker compensation claims;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS ($4,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.125.5325, Human Resources Safety Supplies.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2014 passed January 2, 2014, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
