TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND MEACHAM & APEL ARCHITECTS, INC., FOR PLAN REVIEW SERVICES FOR 2014

WHEREAS, the City is required to have plans reviewed by an architect and the Chief Building Official and the Director of Development have recommended that we proceed with Meacham & Apel Architects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Personal Services Contract with Meacham & Apel Architects, Inc., 775 Yard Street, Suite 325, Columbus, Ohio 43212, for plan review services for the City of Gahanna for 2014; contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That sufficient funds will be set aside in the 2014 Appropriations in Account No. 101.344.5246, Building, Contract Plan Review Services, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
