WHEREAS, this property was recently annexed to the City and a zoning application was filed prior to the acceptance of the annexation per Section 1133.08, Zoning of Annexed Territory, of the Codified Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission held public hearing, said hearing held pursuant to notice and according to law and, as a result of such hearing, on February 22, 2006 recommended this application for zoning approval; and
WHEREAS, City Council held Public Hearing on April 17, 2006, in regular meeting, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map, adopted by Ordinance 198-96, passed on November 19, 1996, as amended, is hereby amended by zoning 40.412+/- acres, SF-3 Single family Residential, said acreage more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to amend and recertify the Official Zoning Map of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, to reflect the zoning contained in and approved by this ordinance.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
