TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE DEEDS TO CREATE DEDICATED RIGHT OF WAY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4464 NORTH HAMILTON ROAD; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the widening of North Hamilton requires dedication of right of way on land currently owned by the City in fee simple form; and
WHEREAS, the execution of these deeds is needed to convert a portion of the property to right of way; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable and necessary to complete this transaction as soon as possible in order to allow for the acquisition of the right of way to remain on schedule, and all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the necessary deeds to create a dedicated right of way for property located at 4464 North Hamilton Road, as outlined in the deeds attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereinabove, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation, and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
