WHEREAS, the air conditioning recovery recycling machines used by fleet maintenance is over 10 years old; and
WHEREAS, this unit has required recurring repairs but continues to be unreliable and this unit will not be technologically compatible with 2013 units; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended that this air conditioning recovery recycling machine be replaced; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to complete this purchase of the air conditioning recovery recycling machine;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,900) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.512.5512, Fleet, Capital Equipment.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect these supplemental appropriations.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
