TO ACCEPT FUNDS FROM MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP AND GAHANNA JEFFERSON PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOR THE FIBER OPTIC TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEPLOYMENT; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE SAID FUNDS.

WHEREAS, Mifflin Township has made payment in the amount of $47,633 for their portion of the fiber optic telecommunications deployment; and
WHEREAS, Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools has made payment in the amount of $31,277 for their portion of the fiber optic telecommunications deployment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration does hereby accept the amount of SEVENTY EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS ($78,910) for the sole purpose of the fiber optic telecommunications deployment.
Section 2. That the amount of SEVENTY EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS ($78,910) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated Balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.145.5553, Capital Projects, Telecommunications, per contracts previously approved by ORD-0057-2001 and ORD-0058-2001.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
