TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH SYCAMORE WOODS CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION AS A JOINT PROJECT FOR SYCAMORE RUN STREAM RESTORATION DESIGN SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City and the Sycamore Woods Condominium Association have agreed to apply for a grant to mitigate stream erosion in the vicinity of the condominiums as a joint project; and
WHEREAS, the City applied for a grant last year and was not selected and the City Engineer has recommended that we complete the design work to increase the chances of receiving the grant; and
WHEREAS, the Sycamore Woods Condominium Association has agreed to reimburse the City the amount of $4,450 as a portion of the cost of the design work through Reimbursement Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Reimbursement Agreement with SYCAMORE WOODS CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION for a portion of the design costs for the Sycamore Run Stream Restoration; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That the Sycamore Woods Condominium Association agrees to reimburse the City FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($4,450) for fair equitable share of the project design costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
