TO HONOR AND COMMEND MATTHEW DEAN ON ACHIEVEMENT OF THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT

WHEREAS, MATTHEW DEAN is a member of Troop 778, in the Tri-Creek District, Simon Kenton Council, of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, as his service project to become an Eagle Scout, MATTHEW DEAN organized and supervised a group of fellow scouts to beautify the grounds of the New Life Community Baptist Church on Stygler Road; and
WHEREAS, MATTHEW DEAN serves as an exemplary standard for the youth of our community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, honor and commend MATTHEW DEAN for his attainment of the rank of Eagle Scout.
Section 2. That MATTHEW DEAN is given heartfelt thanks for being a good citizen and is wished success in his future endeavors.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
