TO AMEND CODE SECTION 1109.08, PUBLIC AREAS, OF CHAPTER 1109, STANDARDS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the Administration has recommended a code change to Chapter 1109, Standards, to help maintain a desirable and healthful environment for all citizens of the City in our public areas; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission heard the proposed amendment in Public Hearing on February 27, 2008, and has recommended approval to Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Code Section 1109.08, Public Areas, of Chapter 1109, Standards, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Section 1109.08, Public Areas, of Chapter 1109, Standards, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
