TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH ARCHIVES ONE FOR OFF SITE RECORDS STORAGE

WHEREAS, the Director of Information Technology has expressed a need to store computer tape backups off site for disaster recovery purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Information Technology has evaluated and toured three different facilities after obtaining quotes from all three; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Information Technology has recommended Archives One as his choice for our records management needs including disaster recovery;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with ARCHIVES ONE, 777 NORTH JAMES ROAD, COLUMBUS, OH 43219 for our off site storage of tape backups.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($1,158) has been set aside to Account No, 101.348.5511, Network, Disaster Recovery, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
