WHEREAS, at the request of the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Commission has reviewed amendments to the Parking Regulations Code that she has proposed; and
 
WHEREAS, there have been increasing code enforcements issues with parked motor vehicles for sale being parked on commercial property; and
 
WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on August 27, 2003, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1.  That Section 1163.09, Limitation of Parking in Residential Districts and Section 1163.10, Sale of Motor Vehicles, Boats, Trailers, Motorcycles and Motor Homes and Section 1163.99, Penalty of Chapter 1163, Parking Regulations, are hereby amended as forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
 
Section 2.  That existing Section 1163.09, Limitation of Parking in Residential Districts and Section 1163.10, Sale of Motor Vehicles, Boats, Trailers, Motorcycles and Motor Homes and Section 1163.99, Penalty, of Chapter 1163, Parking Regulations, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
 
Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
