TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO SECOND ADDENDUM TO THE MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH INTERSTATE GAS SUPPLY, INC., FOR SUPPLYING NATURAL GAS FOR 2008 AND AN OPTION FOR 2009, FOR THE PROVISION OF COMPETITIVE RETAIL GAS AGGREGATION SERVICES, FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, ORD-0106-2007 authorized the City of Gahanna continuing to partner with Interstate Gas Supply, Inc. for competitive retail gas aggregation services; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended that we enter into second addendum to the Master Services Agreement to include a modified extension agreement to change the requirement for termination to March 31st of each year prior to the end of any term;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Second Addendum to the Master Services Agreement with INTERSTATE GAS SUPPLY, INC., 5020 Bradenton Avenue, Dublin, Ohio 43017, to change the termination clause to read "March 31 of each year prior to the end of any term"; said addendum attached hereto and made a part hereof as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
