AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; TITLE THREE PUBLIC UTILITIES - CHAPTERS 921, 927, AND 929.

WHEREAS, each year the Department of Public Service & Engineering reviews city code and fee schedules for necessary updates and revisions to ensure they remain current and applicable; and
WHEREAS, the rates will go into effect in January 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 921.11 Sewer Rental Rates of Chapter 921 Sanitary Sewer Connections and Rental Rates; Section 927.17 Classification of Property and ERU Assignment and Rate, of Chapter 927 Storm Sewers; Sections 929.12 Water Rates, 929.15 Private Fire Protection Services of Chapter 929 Water Connections and Rates, and 929.17 Special Charges (In USD) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna are hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto.
Section 2. That existing Code Sections 921.11, 927.17, 929.12, 929.15, and 929.17 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna, or any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
