TITLE
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND HONORING SMALL BUSINESSES IN GAHANNA
BODY
WHEREAS, over 1,000 small businesses call Gahanna home and contribute to the vibrancy of our community; and
WHEREAS, Small Business Month is celebrated in May every year as a special tribute to recognize the courage, community efforts, and hard work of small businesses for an entire month; and
WHEREAS, America’s progress has been driven by pioneers who think big, take risks and work hard; and
WHEREAS, small business owners are passionate about what they do and the community they support; and
WHEREAS, we join in this national effort to help America’s small businesses do what they do best, create jobs, and ensure that our communities remain as vibrant tomorrow as they are today.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council does hereby recognize May 2024, as National Small Business Month for the City of Gahanna.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
