TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE EASEMENT WITH AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER TO REPLACE ELECTRIC SERVICE UNDER OLDE RIDENOUR ROAD TO THE GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, American Electric Power has requested an easement for the electrical service line to the Golf Course clubhouse on Olde Ridenour Road; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to move forward as quickly as possible for this work to be completed, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute AEP Easement & Right of Way, for electric service line under Olde Ridenour Road to the Golf Course clubhouse at 220 Olde Ridenour Road.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
