TO HONOR AND COMMEND ANDRE PORTER FOR SERVICE TO THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, ANDRE PORTER had a great desire to serve the City that he had made his home in; and
WHEREAS, ANDRE PORTER was appointed to the Board of Zoning & Building Appeals in 2008, and served as Chairman in 2010; and
WHEREAS, ANDRE PORTER was also appointed to the Community Improvement Corporation in September of 2009 and was President of CIC in 2010 and 2011 until his appointment to Council; and
WHEREAS, ANDRE PORTER was appointed to Gahanna City Council on January 25, 2011 and will serve until April 10, 2011, when he takes a new position that does not allow him to continue on Council; and
WHEREAS, ANDRE PORTER is a man of great integrity and was a great asset to the City of Gahanna in each capacity he served, and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of working with him;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby honors and commends ANDRE PORTER for his dedication and three and one half years of service to the City of Gahanna and wishes him well in all future endeavors.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
