Vacate - Schneider Lane
Title
TO VACATE ALL OF SCHNEIDER LANE CONSISTING OF A TOTAL OF 0.211 ACRES DEDICATED AS A PART OF THE MAPLE RUN SUBDIVISION.
Body
WHEREAS, Maple Run Subdivision included dedicated street right of way for Schneider Lane; and
WHEREAS, with the development of Woodside Green South Schneider Lane is no longer needed and the City Engineer is recommending the vacate of Schneider Lane; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this request and at their regular meeting held on February 25, 1998 recommended to Council that all of Schneider Lane be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has stated that this road right of way is not needed for utility purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That all of Schneider Lane is hereby vacated, said roadway more particularly described in EXHIBIT A and EXHIBIT B, attached to this ordinance and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
