TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH DAVID ARNOLD, 109 PRICE ROAD, FOR PURCHASE OF BIG WALNUT WATERFRONT RIGHT-OF-WAY

WHEREAS, with the Price Road Water Line Extension the City has been afforded the opportunity to acquire key waterfront property for future walkway expansions; and
WHEREAS, the property at the rear of 109 Price Road is available and the owner is willing to sell the City an approximately one acre tract which will be key in future development; and
WHEREAS, in exchange the Arnolds have requested the City survey, at our own expense, their property, waive all waterfront footage tap fees and pay those that are not waivable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with David Arnold, 109 Price Road, for purchase of an approximately one acre parcel in exchange for services the City will render as specified in EXHIBIT A, attached and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council, and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
