TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH GGC ENGINEERING, FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR WEST JOHNSTOWN ROAD, IMPROVEMENT NO. 752; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $54,860 THEREFOR.

WHEREAS, the original contract with CLYDE WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES, INC. (ORD-0065-2000) has become null and void due to the closure of their business; and
WHEREAS, letter proposal for engineering services, dated May 15, 2001, has been received from GGC ENGINEERS, and has been recommended by the City Engineer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with GGC Engineering, 104 Mill Street, Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for design engineering services on West Johnstown Road, said services to be in accordance with proposal letter, dated May 15, 2001, attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and all in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIFTY FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS ($54,860) is hereby supplementally appropriated from Account No. 101.145.5541, Engineering, Streets to Account No. 101.145.5533 Capital Projects/Engineering.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
