WHEREAS, ORD-0205-2011 extended the position of Director of Emergency Management for two years and set the salary; and
WHEREAS, the Emergency Management Director had voluntarily cut his hours the past two years due to the budget constraints in the City; and
WHEREAS, funding was appropriated at the lower number of hours in the 2013 appropriations instead of the salary established in ORD-0205-2011; and
WHEREAS, the Administration wishes to remedy this by appropriating the funds to bring his salary to the level it should be;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS ($4,260) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to the following accounts:
101.215.5101 Director Salary $3,640
101.215.5131 PERS 510
101.215.5138 Medicare 55
101.215.5132 Worker's Comp. 55
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
