WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources believes it would be beneficial to offer the City's Employee Assistance Program through Mt. Carmel Behavioral Health to eligible year-round part-time employees; and
WHEREAS, there are currently 57 part-time employees who would qualify for the program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWO THOUSAND SIXTY-TWO DOLLARS ($2,062) is hereby transferred from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the General Fund to the proper EAP Accounts.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of THIRTY-ONE DOLLARS ($31) is hereby transferred from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Stormwater Fund to the proper EAP Accounts.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of THIRTY-ONE DOLLARS ($31) is hereby transferred from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Water Fund to the proper EAP Accounts.
Section 4. That funding in the amount of THIRTY-ONE DOLLARS ($31) is hereby transferred from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the Sewer Fund to the proper EAP Accounts.
Section 5. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this transfer of funds.
Section 6. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to transfer the $372 appropriated to Account No. 101.135.5142, EAP, to various accounts as needed upon the hiring of additional staff.
Section 7. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
