WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received from Benatec Associates for study of the Garage, Fleet and Fuel Management operations of the City; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Director of Public Service have recommended that we proceed with said proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with Benatec Associates, 119 Dillmont Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43235, to study the City of Gahanna's Garage, Fleet and Fuel Management operations; proposal attached as EXHIBIT A.

Section 2.  That the amount of TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund, to Account No. 101.512.5441, Contract Services, to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That ORD-1-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 4.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
