WHEREAS, The Epcon Group, Inc. whose project Collingwood Pointe on Morse Road, had previously agreed with Franklin County and the City of Columbus to donate $97,000 to improvements on Morse Road; and
WHEREAS, the City is the lead agency for this improvement project the funds are to be deposited by the City to be used for the Morse Road/US 62 intersection improvement, Imp. #753; and
WHEREAS, the developer has agreed to contribute towards the improvement and it must be accepted as a non statutory fee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That we hereby accept the contribution of $97,000 from The Epcon Group to be applied to the future widening of the Morse Road and US 62 intersection.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
