SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - EQUIP & UPFIT A DODGE RAM POLICE SPECIALTY VEHICLE.

WHEREAS, the Police Department is purchasing a Dodge Ram police specialty vehicle and it needs equipping and upfitting of necessary equipment and accessories; and
WHEREAS, various vendors are being used to purchase the necessary equipment including CDW-G, Stalker Radar Applied Concepts, Inc., Motorola and miscellaneous other vendors in order to upfit this vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended we proceed with these vendors in order to purchase the equipment to upfit this vehicle;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the proposals to upfit a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 are attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND FOUR DOLLARS ($15,004) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Law Enforcement Trust Fund, To Account No. 225.211.5512, LETF - Capital Equipment, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
