TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH ACS TITLE AND CLOSING SERVICES FOR TITLE EXAMINATION OF 133 MILL STREET.

WHEREAS, the Department of Development has recommended that we enter into a contract with ACS Title and Closing Services for title examination of property the old fire station and property adjoining Creekside; and
WHEREAS, this contract is not to exceed $1,000 and funds are available in the 2002 appropriations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with ACS TITLE AND CLOSING SERVICES, 142 Granville Street, Gahanna, OH 43230, for title examination work for 133 Mill Street, as outlined in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000) has been set aside to Account No. 101.343.5253, Planning, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this legislation shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
