TO ACCEPT GENERAL WARRANTY DEED FROM JAMES L. PURDIE FOR RIGHT OF WAY PURPOSES ON JOHNSTOWN ROAD

WHEREAS, James L. Purdie recently annexed certain land to the City of Gahanna and, as a part of that annexation, has granted to the City 0.191 acres of land for right of way purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed said General Warranty Deed and has recommended acceptance thereof at the earliest possible date;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts General Warranty Deed from James L. Purdie for right of way on Johnstown Road (U.S. Route 62), said right of way being more particularly described in General Warranty Deed, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That land accepted herein is hereby named East Johnstown Road (U.S. Route No. 62) and dedicated to public use.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
