WHEREAS, a supplemental appropriation is needed to fund the retirements and resignations for the Police Department that were not known when the 2000 Appropriations were approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Thirty Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Seven Dollars ($37,997) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund as follows:
Account Number 101.211.5110, Police Salaries, $37,932
Account Number 101.211.5138, Police Medicare, $65.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
