WHEREAS, the City would like to create the full time unclassified position of GIS Technician in the Technology Department; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of this position is essential to achieve the long term goals and strategies of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That there is hereby created the full time unclassified position of GIS Technician in the Department of Technology with duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That compensation is established for the position at a class allocation of 32 and a salary range of $43,549 to $60,484.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of SEVEN THOUSAND SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS ($7,072) is hereby transferred from Account No. 101.355.5105, GIS, Full Time Administrative Salary, to Account No. 101.355.5106, GIS, Full Time Administrative Hourly.
Section 4. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this transfer of funds.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
