WHEREAS, it has been determined that to allow the City broadband project to progress while determining the best way to use the bond money authorized in ORD-0098-2007 that a temporary supplemental appropriation is needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.140.5596, Public Service, Capital Projects/Improvements.
Section 2. That this supplemental appropriation is temporary and funds will be returned to the General Fund when the best way to use the bond money is determined.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
