TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH BURGESS & NIPLE LTD FOR THE ENGINEERING PORTION OF THE BRENTWOOD SANITARY SEWER REMEDIATION PROJECT; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $81,000 THEREFOR.

 

Body

WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Water Resources Engineer, the Director of Public Service, and the Mayor that we move forward with the engineering phase of the Brentwood Sanitary Sewer Remediation Project; and

 

WHEREAS, Burgess & Niple Limited has submitted their proposal for this remediation work and a supplemental is being requested in order to move forward;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with Burgess & Niple Limited, 5085 Reed Road, Columbus Oh  43220 for the engineering portion of the Brentwood Sanitary Sewer Remediation Project.

 

Section 2.  That the amount of  EIGHTY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($81,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.991.5939, Transfer to Miscellaneous.

 

Section 3.  That the amount of  EIGHTY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($81,000) is hereby transferred from Account No. 101.991.5939, Transfer to Miscellaneous to SSCI.

 

Section 4.  That the amount of  EIGHTY ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($81,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the SSCI Fund to Account No. 662.361.5543, Sanitary Sewer Capital Projects.

 

Section 5.  That Ordinance No. 990001, passed January 2, 1999, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

 

Section 6.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
