Body

WHEREAS, the position of Director of Public Service has been recently filled and is it necessary to effect the proposed compensation at the earliest possible date for employee morale, and for preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That Article II, Pay Ranges, of Substitute Ordinance No. 120-95, as amended, is hereby amended and restated in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereinabove, this ordinance is emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
