TO APPROVE THE APPOINTMENTS OF TWO TRUSTEES TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE GAHANNA COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA HOUSING COUNCIL (CRAHC) BOARD; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, there have been two resignations from the membership of the board of trustees of the Gahanna Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council (CRAHC) Board, and it is desirable to make new appointments immediately in order that the work of this Board may continue in an orderly manner; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists since the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare in the City requires the approvals and determinations by such trustees in accordance with the provisions of said Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the appointed trustees of the Board, namely:
MAURICE JONES, having been appointed by the Mayor to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor;
CRAIG REYNOLDS, having been appointed by the Mayor to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor;
are hereby approved, confirmed, affirmed, and ratified as members of the Board of Trustees of the Gahanna Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council (CRAHC) Board, and that the names of Michael O'Brien and Eugene Robinson have been removed, and reaffirming all other members of the Board of Trustees.
Section 2. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declare emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
