WHEREAS, a Conrail Settlement agreement has been worked out through the law firm of Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur; and
 
WHEREAS, a Quit-Claim Deed has been received from C. P. Property Holdings, LLC, and it is necessary and desirable to accept this Deed at the earliest possible date;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1.  That this Council hereby accepts QUIT-CLAIM DEED for 1.977 acres, Bricklawn Road, granted by CONSOLIDATED RAIL CORPORATION as a part of the settlement in the Conrail Settlement, said Deed more particularly described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached to this ordinance and made a part herein.
 
Section 2.  That, for the reasons stated in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation, and shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and upon date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
