TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS - Developers Escrow Fund and Capital Improvement Fund
BODY
WHEREAS, Construction throughout the City has exceeded expectations, resulting in additional escrow collections from developers; and
WHEREAS, due to the additional deposits having been made, there is a need for supplemental appropriations in the amount of $350,000 for the Developers Escrow Fund; and
WHEREAS, Council previously pass legislation to revise the Sidewalk Program, which allows for 50 percent reimbursement to residents who self-performed sidewalk work in previous program years; and
WHEREAS, supplemental appropriations were not previously passed as part of the revised program and are now requested in the amount of $54,000 for the Capital Improvement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated unencumbered Developers Escrow Fund 8600 as follows:
860.11.000.5205 Developers Escrow Contract Services: $350,000
Section 2. That funding in the amount of fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated unencumbered Capital Improvement Fund 3250 as follows:
325.06.550.5505 Capital Projects/Improvements: $54,000
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
